Biophilic Design for Healthcare & Wellness Spaces

This is my custom-designed seating for a healthcare facility. The benches have integrated planters, seamlessly blending furniture and nature to create a waiting area that is functional, beautiful, and calming.

Here you can see the rich texture of the ZZ plants used in the integrated planters. Their glossy, dark green leaves provide a lovely contrast against the light wood, adding depth and life to the space.

In a healthcare setting, the waiting area is your first opportunity to put patients at ease. We integrate durable, moisture-resistant planters directly into custom bench seating, using air-purifying species like Snake Plants and ZZ plants. - Moisture Control: Every planter setup includes FRP (Fiber Reinforced Plastic) lining or watertight trays to ensure there is zero risk of seepage, protecting your expensive clinic flooring and joinery.
- Maintenance-Free Media: We use soilless, pest-free potting mixes that prevent mold and keep the waiting area clean and hygienic.
- Custom Joinery: From reception desks to waiting area partitions, we fabricate units that match your brand aesthetics while housing the plants securely.
