Grand Wedding Decor for Traditional and Themed Ceremonies
From classic temple-style mandaps with authentic banana plants to contemporary lotus-themed stages, I design spaces that tell your unique wedding story.
A closer view of the traditional wedding mandap, focusing on the seating area for the couple. The decor features carved wooden chairs, brass lamps, and a backdrop of hand-painted greenery and hanging floral strings, all under a classic tiled roof.
This is the kind of immersive, traditional wedding decor I love to create. For this Muhurtham, I designed an open-air mandap with a hand-painted backdrop, authentic temple-style pillars, and lush greenery from banana plants, all brought together with classic brass lamps to create a sacred and beautiful space.
This unique lotus-themed stage was designed for a special ceremony. I used custom-cut lotus props, dramatic lighting, and flowing floral arrangements to create a visually stunning and memorable centerpiece for the event.
About Grand Wedding Decor
When I design a wedding stage, I look at more than just the floral arrangements. I focus on how lighting interacts with the backdrop and how props like traditional temple pillars frame the couple. For our temple-style setups, I insist on using real banana plants and hand-painted greenery rather than mass-produced synthetic decor. This approach ensures your photos look authentic and rich, not just like a standard rented set.
My approach to wedding decor is rooted in the belief that your space should reflect your personality. Whether you are planning an intimate Muhurtham or a large-scale reception, I work to blend traditional South Indian elements with modern design sensibilities.
The Themed Approach
I do not believe in one-size-fits-all decorations. If you choose our Lotus theme, we use custom-cut floral props and dramatic color-washing lights to create a vibrant, immersive environment. For traditional weddings, my focus shifts to cultural authenticity. I incorporate real brass lamps (Kuthu Vilakku), mango leaf torans, and temple-style structures that bring a sacred, grounded feel to the mandap.
Behind the Scenes
Planning a wedding involves many moving parts. I personally oversee the sourcing of fresh marigolds and tuberose to ensure the floral density is high and the colors are consistent. We handle the trussing, fabric draping, and lighting design as a complete package, so you do not need to coordinate with multiple vendors for the stage.
Working with Your Venue
Based in Vidyaranyapura, I provide decor services across Bengaluru. I am experienced in working with diverse venues, from open-air lawns to indoor banquet halls. I always conduct a site visit before finalizing the design to ensure our backdrops and seating arrangements fit the space perfectly. If you have a specific vision, let us discuss how we can adapt these themes to make your celebration feel genuinely yours.
