About District & Local Championships
We utilize the Swiss League system for our district tournaments, ensuring that every player participates in all rounds to maximize their experience regardless of their standing. We provide full event management, from official FIDE-standard chess sets and digital clocks to pairing software and tournament sanctioning, so that schools and clubs have a turn-key solution for hosting competitions.
Tournament Standards and Governance
We operate strictly under the rules laid out by the World Chess Federation (FIDE) and the United Karnataka Chess Association (UKCA). When we host a district selection tournament or an open rapid championship, our focus is on creating a level playing field. This means enforcing clear time controls, managing pairings through recognized software, and ensuring that arbiters are present to maintain order and resolve disputes according to the laws of chess.
