About Creating Champions
Our competition strategy focuses on the 'tournament simulation' method. Unlike general classes that emphasize only opening theory, we drill clock management, notation, and the touch-move rule in every session. This ensures that when your child sits at a board in the Bangalore Open or any FIDE-rated event, the pressure feels like just another practice day.
Success in competitive chess isn't just about talent; it's about preparation. Since 2011, we have built a pipeline of over 180 medal winners by focusing on what actually happens on the tournament floor. Our curriculum, led by active FIDE-rated players, goes beyond basic tactics like pins and forks to teach the psychological discipline required to hold a position under pressure.
Why Our Tournament Training Works
- Real Tournament Standards: We use professional vinyl boards and weighted pieces to match the environments at state and national championships.
- FIDE-Rated Guidance: Students learn directly from coaches who play in active FIDE events. They teach what is currently winning games, not just what was in books from ten years ago.
- Beyond the Board: We focus on the psychology of the game. We teach kids how to handle a loss without losing focus and how to manage time when the clock is ticking down in a critical endgame.
Notable Achievements
Our students like Aadya Ranganath, a Bronze medalist in the 25th Asian Youth Chess Classical, and Krishnaav Hazarika, who secured Gold in the Assam State Under 11 Championship, prove that a structured, disciplined environment works. Whether your goal is a district medal or international representation, our program provides the rigorous training needed to get there. We keep the coaching environment in Jayanagar focused and practical, ensuring your child learns the nuances of professional play.
