About Featured
When I work on a theatre score or a commissioned anthem, I start with 2-3 consultation sittings to really map out your ethos. It is not just about the melody, it is about finding the daarideepa (guiding light) in your story. Whether it is a classical fusion or an electronic soundscape, I work closely with you to ensure the music reflects the narrative perfectly.
My creative work spans a wide range, from directing large-scale cultural events in Bengaluru to composing for international Broadway productions like 'The Vanishing Elephant'. What ties these projects together is a commitment to collaboration. Whether I am reviving Rashtrakavi Kuvempu's poetry in a Bhavageethe composition or working with young artists from Srishti Special Academy, the goal is always to create a genuine connection.
My Approach to Collaboration
I believe the best art happens when we bring people together. My process is highly interactive, involving researchers, session musicians, and the people for whom the music is created. For theatre productions, I don't just provide a track. I dive into the historical or cultural themes, attend rehearsals, and tailor the sonic palette—blending electronic textures with folk vocals—to fit the specific acoustics of the venue.
Areas of Focus
- Theatrical Scores: I design end-to-end soundscapes including overtures and underscores, integrating live leitmotifs with technical backing tracks.
- Original Anthems: From conceptualization to final mixing, I produce 4-5 minute tracks that serve as the heartbeat of your brand or cause.
- Event Curation: I curate multi-sensory experiences, managing artist bookings and writing scripts to weave together diverse cultural narratives.
