About Featured
Every piece here begins as a raw sketch on paper before I build it out with ink or paint. Whether you want a single-line doodle or a detailed shadow portrait, I work with high-quality 180 GSM paper or canvas to ensure your art lasts. Since I handle each layer by hand to maintain the depth of the work, I generally need 4 to 6 days to complete your custom piece.
My art is not just about producing an image; it is about finding the story in your photos and translating that onto canvas. I work with a variety of mediums, from fine-tip archival black pens for minimalist line art to heavy-duty charcoal and graphite for realistic portraits.
My Approach
When you request a custom piece, we start with a discussion about what you want to convey. If it is a couple portrait, I focus on the connection and the energy between the subjects. For my shadow art, I rely on high-contrast black and white to emphasize form and emotion, removing the clutter of detail to leave only what matters.
Materials and Durability
I prioritize the longevity of my work. I use 180 GSM acid-free drawing paper for sketches to prevent yellowing over time, and for my acrylic works, I use 300 GSM mixed-media paper to ensure the surface handles the layers without buckling. Each portrait, especially the pencil and charcoal sketches, is finished with a professional fixative spray to protect the shading from smudging.
The Emotional Spectrum
My portfolio spans from bright, celebratory pieces—like Radha Krishna paintings—to more introspective works that touch on loss and loneliness. This range allows me to create art that fits whatever mood or occasion you have in mind, whether it is a gift for a wedding anniversary or a personal piece for your own space. If you have a specific idea in mind, let me know, and we can figure out the best style to bring it to life.
