About this collection
Training happens five days a week at the RBK Global Turf in Mira Road, where our focus is on structured development rather than just match results. We operate on a 1:12 coach-to-player ratio, ensuring that every boy in our U7 to U17 squads gets individual attention to master ball control, passing, and tactical movement.
At OriGen Sports Academy, we believe football is a long-term journey. Our development program for boys is designed to take players from the grassroots level to competitive stages like the MFA Yuva President League (YPL). We don't believe in shortcuts. Whether it is a U7 player just learning the basics or a U17 athlete preparing for the I-League pathway, our curriculum is strictly guided by AFC-licensed coaches.
The Pathway
We are an official Grassroots Development Centre for Sportsmania FC, which provides our players with a direct scouting link to state and national tournaments. We hold regular practice matches against other academies in Mumbai, such as Kaizen FC, to test our players against real-world competition. This exposure is crucial for building resilience, both when we win and when we face a tough loss.
What We Focus On
- Technical Mastery: Ball control, finishing, and passing under pressure.
- Tactical Awareness: Learning to play as a unit in 7v7 and 11v11 formations.
- Fitness: SAQ (Speed, Agility, Quickness) sessions to prepare for high-intensity league fixtures.
- Character: Discipline, teamwork, and the importance of showing up even on the hard days.
