About Player Spotlights & Achievements
We don’t hand out Player of the Match awards just for scoring goals. When a coach picks a player, it’s about their work rate, their ability to bounce back from a tough 1-0 loss, or those crucial saves in goal. We celebrate these specific moments because they teach our kids that effort matters more than the final scoreline, keeping them motivated to show up for training the next day.
For our players, the 'Player of the Match' isn't just a trophy; it's validation of the five-day-a-week grind at RBK Global School Turf. Whether it is our U7s finding their feet in the MFA Yuva President League (YPL) or our older squads competing in the Hasan Memorial Championship, we look for grit over glory.
Why We Spotlight Achievements
Football is a rollercoaster, especially at the grassroots level in Mira-Bhayandar. A player might score an incredible free-kick one week and lose a tight match the next. We document these highlights because they create a narrative of resilience for our students.
