Creative Arts & Crafts Classes for Kids
We believe in getting messy and letting imaginations run wild. From pottery and sensory painting to building complex cityscapes, our art workshops are all about the process, not just the product.
Come play with us. We believe play is a child's superpower, and our pottery sessions are a perfect example, letting kids feel the clay and shape their own creations.
Preparing for any adventure. In our art classes, children learn to navigate new materials and techniques, building skills they will carry with them for life.
Smiles and splashes of color. Abhyudita and Charlotte are having a blast in their art class, protected by their aprons and free to get creative.
Mira learns that sometimes the best part of art is getting a little messy. Here, she explores finger painting techniques, learning about color blending and texture.
Art time is zen time. Mindful activities like coloring help children focus on the present moment, making every stroke a relaxing and calming experience.
We see our role not as instructors who fill a pail, but as guides who light a fire. Here, a teacher helps a student refine her drawing, nurturing her creative spark.
Little Devansh is completely engrossed in the art of origami. Each focused fold transforms a simple piece of paper into a butterfly, teaching patience and precision.
A sneak peek into our sensory painting class. Children explore textures and colors, learning through touch and sight in a playful, unstructured environment.
Meet Samara, a young artist who loves drawing, Pinocchio, and stickers. We provide a space where children can pursue their passions, even after their homework is done.
A quiet moment of creativity. Samara finds her focus at our hub, demonstrating the calm and concentration that art can inspire.
About Creative Arts & Crafts
We keep our art batches strictly limited to 6 to 8 students. This ensures that every child receives personal guidance from our mentors, whether they are learning color theory or mastering complex pottery techniques. We handle the mess and provide all professional supplies—from stretched canvases to glazing materials—so you do not need to bring a thing.
Our Approach to Art
At Openhouse, we view art as a tool for cognitive development, not just a way to keep children occupied. We move beyond simple coloring to teach techniques that build fine motor skills, focus, and logical thinking.
What Happens in the Studio
Our curriculum is designed around hands-on engagement:
- Pottery & Sculpture: Children get their hands dirty learning to shape clay, developing tactile awareness and patience.
- Sensory Painting: We use texture and unconventional tools to teach children about color blending and pattern recognition.
- Paper Engineering: Projects like origami or creating cityscapes from geometric shapes help children understand structural concepts and precision.
The 'Process Over Product' Philosophy
We want children to experience the joy of discovery. If a child spends an hour experimenting with a new brush stroke, that is a success. Our mentors act as guides rather than instructors, encouraging children to experiment, fail, and try again until they find a solution that works for them.
Community & Showcases
We celebrate our students' progress through regular 'Open Day' events. This is where children gain the confidence to present their work to an audience, turning their private creative time into a shared community experience. Whether you join us at our Indiranagar, HSR Layout, or Sarjapur hub, you will find a consistent, creative environment designed to spark curiosity.
Openhouse
We started Openhouse to give kids a space that feels like a second home, not a school. We focus on hands-on creation, whether it is pottery, painting, or paper craft, to help your child develop confidence through play.
