Creative Toddler Art & Craft Workshops in Bengaluru
I believe every child is an artist. My workshops focus on the joy of creating, using simple, everyday materials to help your little one explore textures, colors, and their own imagination, all while you enjoy the bonding, not the cleanup.
A look at some of our summer play fun. From handprint art to exploring nature, every activity is a chance for children to express themselves and learn through doing.
A simple and beautiful printmaking activity. We used bubble wrap to create a raspberry texture and a real leaf to print its delicate veins, exploring patterns found in nature.
A snapshot from our August sessions, filled with colorful art. This child is showing off her messy hands after creating a beautiful paper collage and working on an ocean puzzle.
Celebrating the International Day of Play with what we love most: getting creative with paint. This child is fully engaged in the process, exploring color and texture.
A beautiful, collaborative beach-themed art piece. The children worked together to create the sand, waves, and sun, learning to share a creative vision.
We used play-doh and mud clay to create some lovely little ladybugs. This is a great activity for strengthening hand muscles and practicing fine motor control.
Art and craft activities are crucial for toddler development. This image captures a child engaged in messy play, which stimulates the senses and fosters creativity.
Using a sponge dabber is a great way for little hands to paint. This activity helps develop hand-eye coordination and introduces children to using tools for art-making.
We made footprint airplanes in this fun transportation-themed activity. It's a wonderful way to create a personal keepsake while learning about different parts of a plane.
Today we focused on leaves. The children painted various types of leaves and imprinted them on paper, creating beautiful botanical patterns and learning about nature's diversity.
About Creative Expressions & Crafting
We rarely stick to just paper and paint. I love turning dried leaves, egg cartons, and recycled cardboard into textures for our projects. It teaches children that creativity is not about having the perfect supplies, but about looking at the world around us with fresh eyes and curiosity.
I designed these sessions for toddlers aged 6 months to 5 years, where the focus is entirely on the process, not the final result. Whether we are printmaking with bubble wrap or sculpting with mud clay, every activity has a purpose. We work on developing fine motor skills, hand eye coordination, and cognitive growth through hands on exploration. For us, sustainability is a core value. We use upcycled materials in almost every craft, showing kids that items like bottle caps and old boxes can be transformed into something beautiful. This is not just about making a craft to take home; it is about building a habit of observation and resourcefulness. Whether you visit my center in JP Nagar or I travel to your venue for a workshop, I ensure every session is safe, engaging, and genuinely messy. You get to witness the discovery, watch your child develop confidence in their own ideas, and leave the clearing up entirely to me.
Doe A Dear
I started Doe a Dear because I wanted a space where parents could just breathe and play alongside their kids. Whether we are splashing paint or crafting with fallen leaves, I am right there to guide the fun, handle the chaos, and make sure you leave with more than just an art project.
