At Nrityakosh, we recognise that the leap from a student to a choreographer is significant. Our mentorship initiatives, such as 'The Triple Bill' and 'Embodied Storytelling', were created to bridge this gap. We provide the structural support that independent dancers often lack, such as professional lighting design, venue coordination at spaces like Medai, and critical feedback on movement vocabulary.

The Triple Bill

This initiative acts as a launchpad for professional belly dancers across India. We remove the financial and logistical barriers of staging a show, allowing artists to focus entirely on their composition. Whether you are exploring abstract themes or classical oriental fusion, we help you translate your concept into a 15-minute stage piece. It is a space for work-in-progress compositions to breathe, evolve, and find an audience.

Embodied Storytelling

This 8-week intensive is designed for those who want to move beyond technical steps. We dive deep into the 'why' of dance making. You will learn to conduct research, construct a screenplay, and analyze music to build a 75-minute narrative production. We emphasize the cultural depth and history of the art form, pushing you to integrate techniques like Kathak or contemporary dance into your belly dance foundation.
