About Featured

Many students come to us thinking belly dance is just a fitness routine. Notice the focus in these photos; that is what happens when you shift your mindset from a workout to an art form. Whether it is our annual production or a small community hafla, we do not just teach steps. We teach you how to embody the music, understand the cultural history, and eventually, stand on a stage like Medai in Koramangala with your own story to tell.
