About Traditional Indian Martial Arts
You will be training in open-air environments, using traditional tools and equipment that match the rugged, scientific approach we apply to combat. This is not a leisure class; whether you are learning Silambam or Mallyuddha, you are working toward technical proficiency and physical conditioning that prepares you for competitive national-level trials.
Reviving Ancient Combat Systems
We are one of the few institutions committed to the formal preservation and teaching of India's indigenous combat systems. Our approach treats these arts as a complete athletic discipline, blending historical technique with modern sports science.
Core Traditional Disciplines
- Mallyuddha: We teach this ancient form of Indian wrestling, focusing on the traditional stances and grappling techniques that have been practiced for centuries. We are affiliated with the International Federation of Mallyuddha, ensuring your training follows recognized standards.
- Silambam & Kalaripayattu: Our weapon-based and movement-based modules require physical discipline and mental focus. These sessions are designed to build agility and core strength, preparing you for both personal defense and competitive forms.
- Gatka: We offer training in this traditional martial art, emphasizing the coordination and discipline required for recognized competition formats.
The Path to Certification
For those who want to turn their training into a credential, we offer the 12-month Diploma in Traditional Martial Arts (DTMA). This course covers the history, sports psychology, and biomechanics of these arts alongside rigorous practical training. Completion leads to an NMAA-recognized certification, valid for those seeking roles in security, physical education, or sports instruction.
Training Environment
We operate in Noida and Hapur, utilizing open-air grounds rather than air-conditioned commercial gyms. This setting allows for the intensity and space required for traditional drills, tire conditioning, and weapon practice. Our training follows a strict military-style code of conduct, prioritizing safety, consistency, and discipline over superficial fitness trends.
National Martial Arts Academy
We built the National Martial Arts Academy to turn a deep family passion into a viable career path for athletes. From our village roots to national competition platforms, we focus on making India's ancient sports accessible through formal training and recognized certification.
