About Pathway to Competition: Events & Championships
We do not just host tournaments. Every event on our calendar, from the National Martial Arts Games to the Indian Combat League, serves as a direct pipeline for selection to international championships. We handle the technical certification and weight-class verification internally, ensuring that every athlete enters the ring with a clear, sanctioned path to the podium.
The Ecosystem of Competition
Our approach to competition is built on a structured framework. We believe that an athlete's growth is stunted without a consistent, reliable testing ground. That is why we manage multiple tiers of events designed to move you from regional practice to national recognition.
Our Major Events
- National Martial Arts Games (NMAG): This is our flagship platform. It encompasses Karate, Taekwondo, Kickboxing, Grappling, and traditional styles like Silambam and Mallyuddha. These games act as the primary qualifier for various international championships, including IKU World events.
- Indian Combat League (ICL): Focused on high-intensity combat sports, this league provides a professional environment for fighters to test their striking and grappling skills against matched opponents.
- International Combat Games: We host these events in various cities, including Dehradun, to bring global standards to local fighters. These games feature disciplines ranging from Jeet Kune Do to traditional wrestling.
The Selection Process
Participation is open, but selection is merit-based. We prioritize formal vetting to ensure fair play. When you register for our events, you are not just signing up for a match; you are entering a system that provides:
- Official Certification: Participation and victory records that hold weight in national sports federations.
- Technical Vetting: We enforce strict military-style etiquette and weight-class checks to maintain competitive integrity.
- International Alignment: Our events are affiliated with TAFISA and recognized by the International Olympic Committee. When you win here, the path to international qualification is open.
We provide the platform, the referees, and the administrative backing. You provide the grit.
National Martial Arts Academy
We built the National Martial Arts Academy in our own village to prove that sport belongs to everyone, not just city athletes. We run these championships because we want you to have the same fair shot at national recognition that our own kids had.
