A Bite of My Kitchen
I’m Mallika and for me, sharing food is sharing a piece of happiness. Every Niwala hamper starts in my home kitchen, packed with the same care I give my family. I kicked off this journey in my late 50s, and since then, each box has carried a little bit of my story.
What’s Inside?
- My signature achaars (pickles) are the star - old family recipes, full-on flavour.
- Crunchy snacks like ajwain mathri, fresh baked ragi and atta biscuits, and small-batch jams, chutneys, marmalades.
- Sweet treats too - walnut chocolate fudge and key lime pie in a jar, all homemade with zero artificial stuff.
Everything is made in small batches, so every jar is a little different - sometimes the pickle’s got extra zing, sometimes the biscuits are crumbly. That’s ghar ka taste (home-style).

My Story
Namaste, I'm Mallika. You know, life kept me moving, but dreams toh rukte nahi (dreams never stop). At 56, I finally started Niwala - my own little food journey. My kitchen is where I go crazy with recipes - from Gulab Jamun cake for mom to raspberry lemon cupcakes for my granddaughter. Every dish has a bit of my family's story in it. I believe food is love, and sharing it is my way of spreading happiness.
My Work
Homemade Pickles, Jams & Bakes - I make sun-cooked mango pickle, Carrot Marmalade, jams, street-style guava chutney, and preservative-free walnut chocolate fudge.
All Homemade, No Nasties - Everything's made by me, with patience. No preservatives, just that maa ka swaad (mother's taste) in every bite.
Traditional & Experimental Flavours - Old-school pickles and new experiments - like Amrud ki Chutney with street-style vibes, all hygienic.
