I’m Mallika, and Niwala is my way of sharing simple, honest food with you. I started this little venture at 56, because dreams don’t care about age - and neither should you. Every cake and dessert I make is homemade, bilkul ghar jaisa (just like homemade), with no shortcuts or artificial stuff.
Where Mithai Meets Cake
I love mixing desi flavors with classic cakes. My fusion Indian cakes like Gulab Jamun Cake and Boondi Ladoo Cake are for those who want something hatke (different) at their celebrations. These are showstoppers, both in taste and looks.
Healthier Treats, No Compromise
Not everyone wants extra sugar, so I create desserts for a lighter mood: the Healthy Ragi Chocolate Cake is rich but made with ragi, and my tea cakes use natural sweeteners like jaggery and dates. You get the taste without the guilt.
Classics & Comforts
I also do homemade celebration desserts for any occasion. This includes Burnt Basque Cheesecake, Banoffee Pie, Key Lime Pie in a jar, Walnut Chocolate Fudge, Caramel Custard from my mom’s recipe, and Biscuit Pudding. Cupcakes and muffins too - both classic and with a twist.

My Story
Namaste, I'm Mallika. You know, life kept me moving, but dreams toh rukte nahi (dreams never stop). At 56, I finally started Niwala - my own little food journey. My kitchen is where I go crazy with recipes - from Gulab Jamun cake for mom to raspberry lemon cupcakes for my granddaughter. Every dish has a bit of my family's story in it. I believe food is love, and sharing it is my way of spreading happiness.
My Work
Homemade Pickles, Jams & Bakes - I make sun-cooked mango pickle, Carrot Marmalade, jams, street-style guava chutney, and preservative-free walnut chocolate fudge.
All Homemade, No Nasties - Everything's made by me, with patience. No preservatives, just that maa ka swaad (mother's taste) in every bite.
Traditional & Experimental Flavours - Old-school pickles and new experiments - like Amrud ki Chutney with street-style vibes, all hygienic.
