We start with the basics—grip, footwork, and discipline—to build strong players from the ground up. Whether your child is 5 or 15, we turn potential into performance.

About Building Future Stars: Beginner & Junior Training

We don’t just hand kids a racket and hope for the best. Every session starts with outdoor agility drills because badminton is played with your feet as much as your hands. Your child will spend the first few weeks mastering the chasse step and forehand grip before they ever face a competitive rally.

Our Approach to Training

At Nitesh Badminton Academy, we believe badminton is about more than hitting a shuttle. It is about discipline. Our foundational program for beginners and juniors, available at our centers in Virar, Vasai, and Vashi, is designed to instill this from day one.

We break down the game into manageable, actionable steps:

  • Outdoor Fitness: Before stepping onto the wooden courts, we focus on agility ladders, sprint training, and coordination. If the body isn't ready, the game won't improve.
  • Technical Foundation: Beginners learn the correct forehand and backhand grips, stance, and that crucial chasse step footwork. We use static shuttle balancing to develop the necessary hand-eye coordination.
  • The 'Chal Chal Chal' Philosophy: You will hear this phrase constantly on our courts. It is our way of pushing students to keep moving, stay focused, and believe in themselves.

What to Expect

For our rookie foundation batches, we use durable nylon shuttlecocks, allowing kids to practice volume without the frustration of constant breakage. As they advance, we introduce tactical training, including defensive 2-vs-1 drills and rotation exercises for doubles.

We keep our batch sizes limited—usually 12 to 20 students—to ensure every player gets the attention they need. Our goal is to make sure that by the end of the term, your child isn't just playing; they are understanding the game, moving correctly, and most importantly, enjoying the process of improvement.
