About Ashtanga Yoga Classes
Why I Teach Ashtanga Yoga
Yoga for me isn't just bending or stretching - it's a journey. The mat is where we start, but the real work happens inside. I stick to the traditional method, treating every asana as a moving meditation. We use breath-led movement yoga, not just for fitness, but as a way to connect deeper to ourselves.
What Classes Look Like
Each class kicks off with Surya Namaskar A & B. It's the warmup that gets the breath flowing. Depending on your level, we work through the Ashtanga Primary Series breakdown or sometimes dip into intermediate poses. I guide you through the finishing sequence to help your body cool down and soak in the benefits.
Classes run 5-6 days a week. Yes, it's tough in the beginning, especially for newbies. Modifications are there to make things accessible - so don't worry about "perfect" poses.
The Journey & Challenges
You might feel discomfort at first - that's normal. Patience is key. I always say, don't force anything, bhai (brother). Leave your ego outside. Injuries happen when we chase fancy shapes instead of listening to our body.
What Changes
Stick to it and you’ll notice:
- Stronger, more flexible body
- Better digestion and detox
- Less stress, more prana (energy)
- Real discipline and self-awareness
Trust the process. Bas (that's it), show up on the mat, rest will come with time. All is coming!

My Story
Started yoga 9 years back, chasing real health, not just career stuff. Saw folks always sad, searching for quick fixes. My wife Johanna, also a yoga coach, keeps pushing me to eat better—at first I grumble, then I follow! Dad tries to keep up with Ramdev on TV, and my nephew Moksh actually showed me some moves. You learn from everyone. Blessed to have this crew around me.
My Work
Traditional Ashtanga Yoga Classes - We teach Asana, Vinyasa movement, Pranayama breathing techniques, Kriya, and share tips on yogic lifestyle.
Artful Asana Practice - Asanas are taught as an art, focusing on movement with breath and karma yoga for real strength.
Beginner Friendly Approach - If you’re new, expect gentle modifications and basics. No shortcuts—respect your body and take it slow.
Self Awareness Focus - Practice with awareness, no ego. You’ll get guidance, but self inquiry is key for real growth.
