About Our Community: Workshops & Events
My in-person workshops are intentionally small, usually capped at 15 people, so I can offer real, hands-on corrections. Whether we are using wall ropes for spinal traction or breaking down complex inversions, the focus is always on your personal alignment, not on reaching a perfect shape.
In these gatherings, I strip away the performance aspect of yoga. Whether it is a large-scale event like the Nike After Dark tour or an intimate weekend immersion at a studio in Santacruz, my aim remains the same: to help you understand your own body. We use props like chairs, wall ropes, and blocks as tools to deepen your understanding of alignment, not as shortcuts.
If you are joining one of my weekend immersions, expect to get technical. We break down the mechanics of poses like Sirsasana or Bakasana. We talk about anatomy, safety, and most importantly, how to fall without fear. This psychological work is just as important as building physical strength.
For those looking to regulate the nervous system, we focus on restorative practices and Pranayama. The goal is to move from the gross to the subtle, finding a space where you can finally rest. All sessions are designed for real people with real bodies, not just for the hyper-flexible. We gather not to perform, but to practice and explore what it means to be present.
