About Indo-Western Gowns & Jumpsuits
Getting the fit right on a modern gown or jumpsuit is key to feeling confident. I personally guide the measurement process to ensure the silhouette complements your body, whether you opt for a sleek cowl neck or a flared tiered skirt. Every piece is constructed from scratch, allowing us to adjust colors, sleeve styles, or embroidery density to suit your preference before we start stitching.
The fusion of classic Indian craftsmanship with contemporary styles defines my work at Nine O Nine. When you visit my studio in Rajajinagar, we focus on how to balance structure and comfort. A jumpsuit needs to be easy to move in, while a cocktail gown often requires specific paneling to hold its shape. I use materials like raw silk, satin, and georgette that drape beautifully but also provide a canvas for the hand embroidery I am known for, like Zardosi and sequin work.
I offer two main ways to approach your outfit: custom creation or rental. If you have a specific vision, we start with a consultation to pick your fabric and finalize the design. For those who need a look for a one-time event without the investment, I also have a collection of gowns and jumpsuits available for rent. All rentals are cleaned, inspected, and tailored for a proper fit before you pick them up. Whether you want a heavy, embellished look for a Sangeet or a minimal, elegant silhouette for a reception, we can make it happen.
