My cocktail gowns aren't just about the look; they’re built to last through the dance floor. I use internal boning for a secure, corset-like fit and horsehair braid at the hem to ensure your dress maintains its volume while you move. Everything is fully lined and padded, so you can stay comfortable and focus on having fun at your event.
When you choose a custom-made cocktail gown or jumpsuit, we start by discussing the event. A sangeet requires movement, while a reception might call for something more structured. I personally select fabrics like imported georgette, satin, or sequined net, ensuring the material drapes perfectly against your frame.
The Design Process
- Consultation: We talk about your inspiration. Whether you have a mood board or just a vague idea, we start from scratch.
- Sketching & Selection: I sketch the design and we select the best fabrics for your silhouette.
- Construction: This is where the magic happens. I construct the bodice with internal boning for support, so you don't need to worry about extra layers. We use horsehair braid at the hem to give your gown that flouncy, premium structure.
- Fittings: We do two fitting sessions to ensure the fit is just for you.
