Custom Hardscaping & Outdoor Structures in Bengaluru
We design and build functional outdoor structures—from shaded pergolas to durable decks—that transform your balcony or rooftop into a usable living space.
This modern, minimalist pergola on a rooftop features a white metal frame and a slatted roof. The perforated side panels offer partial privacy while creating beautiful light and shadow patterns, perfect for enjoying a sunset view.
This pergola creates a comfortable and shaded outdoor room, perfect for lounging. The structure is covered with a translucent roof and enveloped by climbing plants, blending architecture with nature.
An expansive wooden deck provides a warm and inviting outdoor living space adjacent to this modern home. The clean lines of the deck are complemented by large-leafed plants, creating a contemporary yet natural feel.
This image from my experience center showcases a creative wall design. It combines a vertical garden with an integrated shelving structure made of concrete blocks, which are backlit for a dramatic effect at night.
A cozy seating nook is defined by a stunning wall of patterned Moroccan tiles. The wooden bench with plush cushions creates a comfortable and stylish corner, demonstrating how a feature wall can anchor a space.
A wide view of the custom-designed reflexology pathway in a park setting. The curved path, made of different colored and textured pebbles, is set within a lush lawn and bordered by vibrant plants and a simple bench.
A close-up detail of the reflexology path shows the careful arrangement of smooth, rounded pebbles in distinct color bands. This highlights the craftsmanship involved in creating a surface that is both beautiful and therapeutic.
About this collection
Before you commit to a pergola or deck, consider that Bengaluru weather requires materials that won't rust or warp. We focus on structural integrity, using anti-rust coated steel for our gazebos and weather-resistant WPC for our decks. This ensures you aren't paying for maintenance repairs after the first monsoon. We build outdoor spaces that remain safe, clean, and functional throughout the year.
Hardscaping forms the skeleton of your landscape. Without a solid foundation of well-planned structures, even the most beautiful plants can feel unorganized or inaccessible.
Why Structure Matters
My approach to hardscaping is about creating "rooms" outdoors. A pergola acts as a ceiling, defining a space for dining or lounging, while a wooden deck provides a clean, dry floor that connects your interior living area to the outdoors. I ensure these elements work with your property's architecture rather than looking like an afterthought.
Our Structural Focus
- Pergolas & Gazebos: We use MS (Mild Steel) frameworks finished with anti-rust coatings. Whether you need 12mm toughened glass for rain protection or WPC louvers for filtered shade, these are built to withstand the elements.
- Reflexology Pathways: One of my favorite features to install. We lay river stones or granite in specific patterns that massage acupressure points as you walk. It turns a simple garden path into a functional, health-focused experience.
- WPC Decking: I recommend Wood Plastic Composite for our climate. It doesn't splinter, resists water damage, and maintains its color far better than natural timber in the Bengaluru sun.
Practical Planning
When we plan your space, we look at traffic flow and utility. If you want an outdoor bar or a fire pit area, I map out the plumbing and electrical points before the first brick is laid. This prevents the need for invasive, messy work later. My goal is to build a foundation that supports your lifestyle, whether that means hosting evening gatherings or finding a quiet corner for morning meditation.
Neo Roots Design
We are a team of architects and plant lovers who don't just see a balcony or rooftop as empty square footage. We see it as your next living room, and we build the structure to make that possible.
