When building hardscapes, site drainage is our biggest priority. We don't just lay pretty stone; we grade the terrain to ensure rainwater runoff is directed away from your building's foundation. This approach prevents the seepage issues and damp patches that often plague poorly planned patios. Whether it is a sunken lounge or a simple walkway, the build quality underneath is what makes the space last.
Building the Foundation
Hardscaping is more than just placing stone pavers or building a deck. It is about creating the structural bones of your garden. Because we handle both the civil work and the design, we don't have to rely on third-party contractors to get the ground levels right.
Our Approach to Materials
We select materials based on your specific location and usage.
- Stone Pathways: We prefer durable materials like Kota, Slate, or Sadarahalli stone. We lay these on a concrete base, not just on loose soil, to ensure they don't shift or sink over time.
- Sunken Lounges: These require precise waterproofing and RCC construction to prevent moisture buildup. We integrate concealed LED strip lighting to define the space at night, turning a simple seating pit into an architectural feature.
- Decking: For terraces and rooftops, we use WPC (Wood Plastic Composite) because it withstands the sun and rain better than traditional wood, requiring far less maintenance in our climate.
The Build Process
When you engage us for hardscape work, we start with a site analysis to check your existing soil and drainage points. We then develop a master plan that ensures your pathways, patios, and seating areas flow logically. During construction, my team is on-site to oversee the civil execution, ensuring the finishing matches the design renderings.
