Behind the Lens: My Baby Photography Studio and Process

Every session in my studio is built around your baby's comfort, not the clock. Whether we are in my Goregaon West or Hinjewadi space, I prioritize a quiet environment where your little one leads the way. I use professional Canon gear for high-quality, soft-light portraits, ensuring we have plenty of time for feeding breaks and soothing so your baby stays happy, peaceful, and ready for those candid, soulful expressions.

My Approach to Baby Photography

Photography is not just about the final image for me. It is about the environment we create to get there. After 10 years behind the lens, I have learned that the best portraits happen when a baby feels safe. My studios in Mumbai and Pune are designed with this in mind—they are clean, quiet, and fully equipped with everything we need for a smooth session.

The Session Flow

When you book a session, we aren't rushing. Newborns, in particular, need time. I schedule ample time for feeding, diaper changes, and cuddles. If your baby needs a break, we take one. I follow their lead, not a rigid schedule.

• Safe Posing: My priority is your baby's physical safety. I use professional-grade wraps, baskets, and soft props to provide support and warmth.
• Gear: I shoot on a Canon R5 Mark II with RF L-series lenses. This allows me to capture fine details—like tiny lashes or the texture of a knitted blanket—with incredible clarity, even in soft studio lighting.
• Studio Setup: Both my Goregaon West and Hinjewadi locations are purpose-built for infants. They are sanitized, climate-controlled, and stocked with props that I have collected over the years.

Why the Studio Matters

An in-studio session allows for consistent lighting and temperature control, which is vital for newborns under 20 days old. It also allows us to use a variety of outfits and backdrop styles without the unpredictability of outdoor weather.
