About From Old to Gold: Upcycled Heirlooms

When you bring an old saree to my studio, we don't just cut and stitch. I personally assess the fabric density and the condition of the borders to see if they will support a modern silhouette like a flared Anarkali or a contemporary lehenga. We often need to strategically place the original embroidery or woven borders to ensure the new outfit retains that vintage charm while fitting perfectly to your current size.
