About Special Events & Themed Workshops
When you join a workshop, you do not just watch me play—you get the exact tools I use. For every session, I provide digitized PDF notes, backing tracks, and a full HD recording so you can review the theory and techniques whenever you need. This way, the learning continues long after the 90-minute session ends.
How Our Workshops Work
I structure these workshops as short, focused bursts. Instead of committing to a long-term course, you get a deep dive into a specific topic. We cover everything from 'Music Gym' sessions focused on finger technique to artist-focused breakdowns where we deconstruct hits by bands like The Beatles or Coldplay.
For Beginners and Advanced Players
If you are just starting, my 'Introduction to Music' workshops provide a solid grounding in rhythm, melody, and ear training. If you are looking for something more specific, our genre-based modules, such as Blues or Jazz, allow you to focus on the improvisation and harmonic concepts that make these styles unique. We keep these groups small, often capped at 3 or 4 students, to ensure everyone gets attention.

We host these sessions in small batches, whether online via Zoom or in-person at our Langford Town and Sahakar Nagar centers. For those joining live, I always leave dedicated time for Q&A and I personally review student submissions to offer specific corrections. You will leave these sessions with more than just a certificate; you will have a better grasp of the theory and techniques that make a musician complete.
