Trusted by the Masters

For generations, the most respected names in Indian classical music have trusted our family with their instruments. Here are some of the maestros, legends, and talented upcoming artists who have visited our workshop or used our instruments for their performances.

The Craftsman's Process

This is a look into how we make and repair instruments at our workshop in Miraj. From shaping the wood and setting the frets to the final polish, every step is done with care and precision, using techniques perfected over six generations.

Custom Designs & Artistry

Your instrument should match your style. We create custom sitars and tanpuras with designs ranging from simple and elegant finishes to intricate floral or peacock artwork. We also build specialized instruments like left-handed sitars and studio-ready flat-back models.

Tanpuras & Other Instruments

While we are known for our sitars, our expertise extends to a variety of Indian string instruments. We build, repair, and restore tanpuras, sarangis, surbahars, and more, always focusing on achieving the best possible tone for the musician.

Our Legacy in Miraj

Our family has been making instruments in Miraj since 1850. This is our home and the heart of India's instrument-making tradition. We are proud to carry this legacy forward, and we are humbled by the recognition our family has received for our craft.
