My Personal Art Diary: Authentic Hand-Drawn Stories
This isn't just a gallery. It is a peek into my life, from sketching my bachelorette outfits in Thailand to turning my own wedding into an art project. No AI here, just real stories on canvas and screen.
I turned my entire wedding into a series of art projects. This video shows how I made a custom ring box inspired by the 'One Piece' anime for my proposal to my now-husband.
My wedding was lotus-themed, a flower I've always loved for its resilience and grace. This video shows some of the lotus details, from the decor to the custom outfit I designed and painted myself.
This is an illustration of the traditional Thai outfit I wore during my bachelorette trip. I love documenting my travel outfits by turning them into fashion illustrations.
An outfit illustration from my bachelorette party. I drew my blue evening dress, capturing the memory of a fun night out.
Another bachelorette outfit check. I illustrated the purple dress I wore, creating a side-by-side of the photo and the artwork.
A casual outfit I wore while exploring in Thailand, turned into a fashion illustration. This was from my bachelorette trip.
An illustration of the flowy dress I wore on a boat tour during my bachelorette. The background is the actual photo from the Phi Phi Islands.
About this collection
You will notice that I obsess over the small stuff, like the specific pattern of a Kanjeevaram sari or the exact lighting in a travel photo. Since I do everything 100% by hand, I do not use AI to speed things up. It is slow, it is deliberate, and it means your final piece is genuinely made by my hands, not an algorithm.
When you look through my art diary, you aren't just seeing a finished illustration. You are seeing a piece of my personal journey. Whether it is a doodle of a lion next to a bride or an anime-inspired ring box for a proposal, I believe art should mirror the chaos and beauty of real life.
My process is intentionally slow. For digital commissions, I work on Procreate, sketching layer by layer until the feeling of the piece is right. For canvas work, I use acrylics to add texture and depth that printouts just cannot capture. I share these pieces here because I want you to see that my art comes from a place of experience, not stock imagery or prompts.
How We Can Work Together
- Digital Portraits & Illustrations: These are perfect if you want a high-res file to share on social media or print for invites. I include a time-lapse video of the creation process so you can see the drawing come to life.
- Acrylic Canvas Paintings: If you want something timeless for your wall, I use premium artist-grade acrylics and seal them with an archival varnish to keep the colours vivid for years.
- The 'No AI' Guarantee: I take pride in every stroke. When you hire me, you are getting a human perspective on your story. We start with your reference photos, discuss the emotional intent, and iterate until it feels like you.
Whether you are looking for a portrait of your pet, a custom wedding suite, or a hand-painted mural, I am here to help you turn your memories into something you can hold.
Rachita Burjupati
I am Rachita, and I see art everywhere. Even my own wedding felt like one big, wild art project. I do not believe in shortcuts, so I paint, sketch, and draw every single detail by hand because that is the only way it feels real to me.
