About Your Story, Illustrated
When picking photos for your custom piece, do not stress about finding the perfect posed shot. I work best with images that capture your real quirks, like that messy hair you love or your pet's funny expression, because that is where the story actually lives.
Art should be personal, not a generic product you pick off a shelf. Whether you want a digital caricature to gift a friend or a classic watercolour portrait for your own wall, I focus on the details that make the moment yours.
How I Approach Your Story
I offer two main paths for commissions, depending on the vibe you are after:
- Digital Illustrations: These are sharp, vibrant, and perfect for when you need something quickly or want to print it on invitations, tote bags, or t-shirts. Since these are digital, I include two rounds of minor revisions, so we can get the colors or little details just right.
- Watercolour Paintings: These are for when you want a classic, tangible memory. I use 300 GSM archival paper, and these physical pieces are signed by hand. There is no 'undo' button here, but that is the beauty of it.
The Process
It is simple. You share your photos or the story behind the moment—maybe it is a proposal, a pet who is basically your child, or a nod to a favourite show like Star Wars. If you are in Mumbai, you can drop by my studio in Goregaon West to chat, or we can coordinate everything over messages. I don't believe in jargon, just clear steps. For digital work, I usually need about 5 to 7 days to get the files ready for you. If you are looking for something more complex, like a tribute piece with specific typography or multiple fantasy elements, let me know, and we can plan a bespoke storyteller commission.
