Outdoor Living Spaces
I design and build complete outdoor areas that function as an extension of your home. Whether you need a covered patio for dining or a lounge zone by the pool, I create usable, low-maintenance spaces for your property.
This view shows a covered patio with a dining area that steps down to a lawn and poolside lounge. I use raised planters to create layers and separate the different functional spaces.
A look at the poolside area, featuring a glass safety fence for an unobstructed view. I used large, clean stepping stones across the lawn to create a path from the patio to the pool.
An outdoor dining setup designed for a smaller backyard. I used a combination of a wooden fence, trimmed hedges, and a variety of plants to create a private, enclosed garden atmosphere.
About Outdoor Living Spaces
When I build an outdoor living space, I prioritize drainage and material durability above aesthetics. Whether we are installing a poolside deck or a covered dining patio, I ensure the materials handle Bangalore’s humidity and rain properly, so you spend your time enjoying the space rather than worrying about upkeep or water stagnation.
Building an outdoor area in an urban environment like Bangalore requires more than just placing furniture. It requires structural planning to make a space truly usable throughout the year. My process begins by looking at how you intend to use the area—whether it is for hosting evening dinners, finding a quiet place to read, or creating a transition zone between your indoor and outdoor living areas.
My Approach to Outdoor Builds
- Functional Layouts: I define zones using hardscaping elements like stepping stones, wooden deck tiles, or raised beds to separate lounging areas from pathways.
- Material Selection: I choose materials based on longevity. I use UV-stabilized synthetic grass that stays green year-round and hardwood or composite deck tiles that resist warping from rain and sun.
- Lighting and Ambience: I integrate concealed waterproof lighting along floor edges and steps, which makes the space functional for evening use without creating a harsh, artificial look.
- Structural Integration: For larger projects involving patios or privacy screens, I handle the framework to ensure the structure is anchored securely to your walls or civil structures.
I believe the best outdoor space is one that feels like an extension of your home's interior. I handle the entire project from the initial design and material selection to the final installation and clean-up. You do not need to coordinate with multiple vendors or worry about the technical setup—I take care of the structural integrity, irrigation for surrounding greenery, and the finish work.
