Here, I used smaller vertical garden sections to break up a long exterior wall. I paired them with potted cordyline plants to add height and a splash of red color.

About Vertical Gardens & Green Walls
The success of your vertical garden relies on matching the right plant varieties to your specific light exposure. We use a lightweight, soil-less potting mix and install an automated drip irrigation system, so you get a thriving green wall that requires minimal daily attention from you.
How We Build Your Green Wall
We start by assessing your wall's light exposure. Whether it is a shaded balcony or a sun-drenched exterior, the plant mix must match the environment. We use sturdy 1-inch Mild Steel tube frameworks, treated with anti-rust red oxide to handle Bangalore weather, and anchor them securely to your civil wall.
The Irrigation System
Hand-watering a wall is impractical. We install 16mm lateral pipes with inline drippers for every row, connected to a battery-operated tap timer. This automation ensures each plant gets exactly the water it needs to stay healthy.
Materials and Plants
We use UV-stabilized virgin plastic modules with a 3-hook system for easy plant replacement. Your wall will be populated with a mix of hardy, semi-shade varieties like Philodendrons, Ferns, and Syngoniums. The lightweight soil-less media, a blend of Cocopeat, Vermicompost, and Perlite, reduces the weight load on your wall while retaining moisture effectively.
Maintenance
Vertical gardens are low maintenance, but not 'no' maintenance. The automated drip system handles daily watering, but you should check the timer batteries every few months. We provide advice on periodic pruning to keep the growth patterns controlled and ensure your green wall remains a clean, living feature for years.
