For my naming ceremonies and baby showers, I build organic balloon garlands rather than standard, stiff arches. These use a mix of balloon sizes, from 5-inch accents to 18-inch anchors, to create a modern, flowing look around your custom backdrop. I design these to fit the specific space, whether it is a compact home setup or a larger outdoor garden venue.
A good ceremony setup needs to be functional as much as it looks good. I work with two main setup types. The first is a clean, printed backdrop, often cut into an arch or circle, paired with customized signage like the baby's name or a themed greeting. This works well for indoor home ceremonies where space is limited. The second type is for larger outdoor events, where I use a structural frame to support the backdrop and balloon garland, ensuring it stays stable even outdoors.
I also incorporate props that serve a purpose. My cylinder pedestals are standard for cake cutting, and I use themed blocks or floor signage to fill empty corners. If you are planning a naming ceremony at a community hall or an outdoor garden, I bring my own lighting, usually LED focus lights, to make sure the backdrop stands out in photographs. I handle the logistics, meaning my team arrives, sets up the full installation, and dismantles it once the event ends. You just need to provide the venue dimensions and your preferred theme.
