About Training, Boarding & Wellness
We don't just teach 'sit' and 'stay'. We work with your dog's specific nature, using markers and free shaping to build a real bond. Whether it's working on leash manners, fixing resource guarding, or just finding a safe place to board while you're away, we look at the individual personality in front of us.
Dog training is 50 percent human training, and our goal at the ranch is to help you become a better handler for your dog. We use science-based, balanced methodologies that include everything from puppy behaviour rehab to tackling reactivity. Our ranch in Whitefield provides more than just a training ground; it's a place for dogs to decompress.
What to expect at the ranch:
- Balanced Methodology: We use tools and techniques like markers and free shaping to communicate clearly. If needed, we incorporate appropriate equipment to ensure safety and effective learning.
- Safe Boarding & Daycare: We limit our intake to ensure every dog gets attention, playtime, and socialization with buddies in a secure environment.
- Enrichment: Beyond training, we offer treadmill workouts and access to our swimming pool. Physical fitness is a huge part of a dog's mental wellness, especially for high-energy breeds.
- Rescue Experience: Because we actively work with rescue dogs like Piccolo and Rocky, we have a deep understanding of dogs who have had a tough start. We know how to help them feel comfortable, confident, and neutral to their surroundings.
