About Our Story, Facilities & Credentials
We don't just coach here; we teach our students to care for the courts too. You will often see our players helping drag the lines and maintain the clay surface, building the discipline and respect for the game that goes far beyond just hitting balls.
When I started this academy, it was just two clay courts and a whole lot of grit. My vision was simple: to create a place where anyone, from a five-year-old picking up a racquet for the first time to an adult looking to refine their forehand, could find a home. Today, Murugan Academy of Tennis has grown into an AITA-recognized facility with five well-maintained clay courts in Seegehalli, designed to be easy on your joints and perfect for long rallies.
We believe tennis is a lifestyle, not just a weekend activity. That is why our Seegehalli location features floodlights for evening sessions, a community kitchen for parents, and dedicated fitness areas. We treat every student like family, which means we celebrate birthdays, tournament wins, and even the tough days when a loss teaches a valuable lesson.
