More Than a Game: The MAT Family
At Murugan Academy of Tennis, we believe the best players are grown in a supportive environment. From birthday celebrations on the court to shared tournament victories, discover how we build a tennis family, not just a training center.

Celebrating another student's birthday on the court. These moments of shared joy are what make our academy a true family.
It's not all serious training. A student shows off his dance moves during a break, reminding us that fun is a big part of the journey.
Even parents get in on the fun. A father and son share a dance during one of our academy events.

Me sharing a dance with a parent. It shows the friendly and relaxed relationship we have with our entire community.
About this collection
It isn't just about the forehand here. When a student wins, loses, or even has a birthday, the entire academy celebrates together. This culture of belonging helps even shy beginners find their footing on the court, making them genuinely eager to return to training the next morning.
Tennis requires grit, but you don't have to build that grit alone. Over the last 11 years in Seegehalli, I have focused on creating a space where the bonds built off the court are as strong as the skills developed on it. When we celebrate a birthday or a tournament win, it's not just a party. It is a moment where our students learn that they are part of a team that has their back, regardless of the scoreboard.
We bridge the gap between being a serious training facility and a second home. This is why you will find a self-kitchen area where parents can connect, and why our coaches join in the fun during events. We have found that when a child feels seen and supported, they train harder and recover faster from the tough losses. We keep our group sizes small, usually around 8 to 10 kids per coach, which ensures every player gets personal attention while staying connected to the rest of the group. If you are looking for an academy where your child will be challenged to play better but also encouraged to grow as a person, you have found the right place.
Murugan Academy of Tennis
Tennis has been my life, and this academy is my dream. My brother Raju and I do not just teach tennis; we build a second home where every student feels comfortable, supported, and motivated to improve every single day.
