About From Our Academy to the Big Leagues
When I send a student to trials like the NMPL or the DB T-10, they aren't just showing up with a bat and ball. They are carrying months of video analysis, pressure-simulated drills, and the specific conditioning we grind through every morning at the academy. That is the difference between a talented player and one who actually makes the squad.
Success in tournaments like the Navi Mumbai Premier League (NMPL) or international trials like the DB T-10 isn't accidental. It is the end result of our high-intensity training cycles at the Mumbai Cricket Academy.
My approach to competitive cricket training in Thane focuses on three pillars:
- Match Simulation: I organize center wicket practice sessions at Central Maidan and Kopri ground to replicate actual match pressure. My students learn to handle a new ball, chase a target, and hold their nerve when the game is on the line.
- Video Performance Analysis: Every session is an opportunity to correct technique. Using frame-by-frame video breakdown, I help players identify small flaws in their stance or follow-through before those flaws become bad habits.
- Fitness for Speed & Agility: Talent is useless without stamina. I incorporate 30 to 45 minutes of core, agility, and resistance training into every session, ensuring my players are physically ready to outlast the competition.
Whether you are aiming for U-14, U-17, or corporate league selections, the preparation is the same. We train hard because the game is tough.
