About The Family Story: From Bump to Baby
My sessions are never about rigid poses. We spend 3 to 4 hours walking through open fields, lush forests, or quiet parks during golden hour, letting your family dynamic breathe while I capture the candid emotions. Whether it is your toddler’s unscripted laughter or a quiet moment with your partner, I focus on the connection, not the camera.
A Natural Approach to Family Memories
Photography is not just about clicking a button, but about catching the poetry in people’s lives. My process for family and maternity shoots is designed to be as relaxed as a Sunday walk rather than a structured studio event. By choosing outdoor locations during the golden hour, we get that soft, warm light that makes skin tones glow and brings a timeless quality to your photos.
What Happens During a Session
- The Vibe: We keep it casual. You walk, you talk, you play, and I follow. There is no standing still or forced smiling. If your toddler is running around or your pet wants to join in, that is where the magic happens.
- The Setting: I prefer nature’s studio—open landscapes, tall grass, and serene spots in Bengaluru and Hassan. These places provide the perfect backdrop for your story.
- The Details: I encourage you to bring things that matter to you. Ultrasound pictures, tiny shoes, or coordinated outfits all help personalize the narrative. If you are having a maternity shoot, we can include older siblings to capture that first look of anticipation.
- Cinematic Films: If you want your story in motion, I also create short, cinematic reels set to music, which are perfect for capturing the candid laughter and movement that photos sometimes miss.
Preparing for Your Shoot
I offer a 3 to 4-hour session, which gives us plenty of time for 3 outfit changes and keeps the pace slow enough for everyone to feel comfortable. My goal is to deliver 35 to 40 premium, artistically retouched images, along with the raw files, so you have the complete story of this chapter. If you are planning a traditional event like a Seemantha or a baby shower, I cover those as well, focusing on the rituals and family interactions.
