About Our Growing Family
Family shoots can feel daunting if you are worried about everyone sitting still, but that is the opposite of what I want. I focus on the real, messy interactions—toddlers running around, grandparents laughing, and siblings bonding—rather than stiff, forced posing. This approach ensures your photos feel like you, not like a formal portrait session.
Making it easy for your family
I know that getting everyone dressed, ready, and out of the house is a task in itself. My goal is to make the actual photoshoot the easiest part of your day. Whether we are in my B. Channasandra studio or outside in a park like Cubbon Park, I keep things relaxed.
Studio vs. Outdoor
- In-Studio: Perfect for controlled, classic shots. It is air-conditioned, private, and I have all the props—baskets, wraps, and festive backdrops—ready to go. It is great for newborns and younger babies.
- Outdoor: If your family loves the outdoors, we can head to a local park during golden hour. The natural light is beautiful, and it gives kids room to run around, which usually results in the most genuine, candid smiles.
Preparing for your session
Don't stress about matching outfits perfectly. Coordinated colors look great, but comfort is more important. If you are comfortable, you will look better in the photos. Also, please bring the grandparents and even your pets. I have a soft spot for pets in family photos, and they are always welcome to join the shoot.
My style mixes classic portraiture with candid interaction. I will direct you into comfortable positions, but the best shots usually happen when you stop looking at the camera and start looking at each other. After the shoot, I take care of the color correction and lighting so you get images that truly pop.
