My Creative Journey in Filmmaking
From a borrowed camera in 2020 to my current studio setup, this is how I turn raw Mumbai energy into cinematic stories.
This is my reality as a freelance video editor. The long hours at my desk are a choice, driven by a passion for the craft. This video is a nod to the grind and dedication it takes to build a dream.
This reel is a personal one, celebrating one year with my dream camera. It's a compilation of brand films, wedding stories, and personal projects, showcasing the diverse range of stories I can help tell.
A satisfying look at my editing desk setup. A clean and organized workspace is essential for a creative and productive workflow, and this is the space where I bring all my projects to life.
The unboxing of my Mac Mini M2. This was a huge milestone for me, providing the processing power needed to handle heavy 4K video editing and complex color grading projects smoothly.
A short, motivational piece about the creative process. The macro shots of an eye and a book symbolize focus and learning, edited together to convey the idea of "going with the flow" in creativity.
A video about overcoming creative blocks. It visualizes the frustrating process of crumpled paper ideas but ends with a look at the editing timeline, reinforcing the message to keep creating no matter what.
About My Creative Journey
Every video I touch goes through a rigorous technical flow. Whether it's a 60-second social reel or a brand film, I use node-based color grading in DaVinci Resolve and custom SFX layering to ensure your final export is not just watchable, but immersive. My studio is powered by a Mac Mini M2, meaning I handle heavy 4K files with zero compromise on visual quality.
Filmmaking is about the grind. I started with a borrowed camera, and today, I have built a workflow that allows for fast, high-quality production.
The Workflow
When you hire me, you aren't just getting an editor; you are getting a process.
- Precision Editing: I specialize in retention-optimized cuts. For social reels, I keep the average shot duration between 0.5s and 2s, using masking transitions that keep viewers from scrolling past.
- Color & Sound: I don't just 'make it look good.' I grade footage to evoke a specific mood, whether it's a high-contrast commercial aesthetic or a warm, nostalgic vibe. I layer Foley effects and ambient soundscapes to make your video feel three-dimensional.
- Technical Readiness: My edit suite is optimized for performance. I work natively with high-bitrate H.264/H.265 files and ensure that product colors remain accurate using professional calibration tools.
Why Work With Me?
I believe in the 'Ajun thodasa thamb na' (please wait a little longer) feeling. I want your audience to stay hooked to the screen. Whether I am shooting drone footage over Mumbai or editing brand commercials, I look for the emotion in the frame.
If you have a rough idea, we can sketch it out and go with the flow. If you have a fully fleshed-out vision, I have the gear and the experience to execute it to broadcast standards.
