My Story: From Borrowed Camera to Shooting Your Life
I started out in 2020 with a borrowed camera, figuring things out in my student days. Now, photography and filmmaking aren't just what I do - they're how I see the world. It wasn’t always easy, but I kept shooting even when inspiration ran dry. Upgrading to my Sony A7 IV was a big deal, but I still believe it’s the story that matters.
What I Shoot
I work across three areas, each with its own vibe:
- Brands: I create clean, sharp visuals for products. Expect cinematic product photography, fast-paced videos, and creative setups - like turning my room into a Mars landscape for a phone shoot. I don’t hide my process either; you’ll see BTS (behind-the-scenes) of how I build each shot.
- Portraits: My style leans moody and cinematic. Think urban portrait sessions in Mumbai, street shots with blurry city lights, and golden hour feels. I want every image to have a vibe, not just look nice. Sometimes I’ll say, "Ajun thodasa thamb na" (just wait a bit more) to get the perfect frame.
- Events: I get right into the action, capturing real moments at corporate launches, travel stories, or major Mumbai festival coverage - from
Aagman SohalatoVisarjan. That energy, the "Pudhchya Varshi Lavkar Ya!" (see you next year) feeling, is what I chase.
Gear & Edit
I shoot with my Sony A7 IV, use drones for aerials, and handle all edits myself in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Lightroom, and Photoshop. I’m obsessed with the details - especially making sure every shot nails that cinematic look.

My Story
Hey, I’m Sarun from Mumbai. B.Pharm degree in the drawer, camera in hand – that’s me. Started out with a borrowed camera, chasing shots and dreams. July 18th, got my Sony A7 IV, felt like winning the lottery. Added a drone, built my gear bit by bit. Won 'Creator of the Year' from Realme India, went abroad for the first time. From a tiny desk to making cinematic Mumbai films, I’m just grateful for every person who believed in me. Bas, abhi toh party shuru hui hai! (This is just the beginning!)

What I Shoot - Mostly commercial brand stuff, but also Mumbai’s festivals, streets, and sunrise moments.
Creative Process - I start with a rough sketch, then just go with the flow. Collaboration is key, and every project is personal.
