About Training for Every Breed
I don't follow a one-size-fits-all script. During our first session, I assess your dog's specific drive—whether they are motivated by food or toys—to understand how they learn best. This assessment helps us design 30-minute sessions that keep your dog engaged and eager to participate without getting fatigued.
Training is not about breaking a dog's spirit, it is about clear communication. Whether you are bringing home an active Belgian Malinois, a sensitive Indie, or a playful Golden Retriever, the basics remain the same: motivation, consistency, and trust. I work with dogs of all ages, starting from 4-month-old puppies, ensuring every breed gets a fair start.
My method is strictly positive reinforcement dog training. This means we reward good choices rather than punishing mistakes. If a dog pulls on the leash, we do not just yank them back. We teach them to check in with you. I identify what drives your pet and use that to make training feel like a rewarding game, not a chore.
My program is a 12-session block, scheduled 3 days a week. We keep individual sessions to 30 minutes because that is the sweet spot for a dog's focus. We cover core obedience like Sit, Down, and Stay, but also practical life skills like managing reactivity on walks, crate training, and desensitization for grooming.
You are a key part of this process. I train you as much as I train your dog. You will need to put in effort between our sessions for these habits to stick. My goal is to help you handle your dog with confidence, whether you are dealing with basic puppy obedience or complex behavioral correction.

For me, dog training is not a job, it is life. I believe in building a connection based on trust and mutual respect, whether it is a rescued Indie or a working-line German Shepherd. My goal is to help you and your dog become the best of friends.
