Obedience is more than just commands; it is communication. Whether you have a puppy or an adult dog, I help you build a bond based on mutual trust rather than control.

A focused 'heel' is about communication, not control. Here, a Labrador demonstrates how we practice walking together in an open field, strengthening our connection and understanding.

Training happens everywhere, including inside the home. This Beagle shows great focus while practicing 'come' and 'sit' commands in a hallway, proving that you don't need a large space to build good habits.

On a rooftop, this Golden Retriever practices a sequence of commands, showing how we can generalize skills to different environments. Consistent practice leads to reliable obedience.

Even small breeds like this Pug can master obedience with enthusiasm. We work on fun tricks and commands that keep him engaged and eager to learn.

This Golden Retriever masters the 'heel' command in a garage, maintaining focus amidst potential distractions like cars. This is a practical skill for everyday safety and control.

Precision is key in obedience. This video shows a Golden Retriever practicing 'stay', 'down', and 'stand' commands, highlighting the clarity and responsiveness we aim for in our sessions.

This well-trained Labrador demonstrates a variety of commands from 'heel' to 'speak', showing the impressive results of consistent, positive training sessions.

A well-behaved dog is a happy dog. This Golden Retriever shows excellent focus and obedience during an indoor training session, reinforcing the bond with its handler.

Outdoor training with Casper the Golden Retriever. We work on maintaining focus and obedience even when surrounded by the sights and sounds of the neighborhood.

This German Shepherd shows incredible determination during an outdoor session. My training focuses on channeling a dog's natural drive into productive and focused work.

About Core Obedience: The Foundation

Forget 'dog school' rules. My approach centers on your dog's natural food or toy drive to build real focus. Whether we are in your living room or at a local park, I’ll show you how to use 30-minute sessions to turn a chaotic, pulling dog into a companion who actually wants to listen to you.

Most people think training is about control, but I see it as communication. If your dog is pulling on the leash, ignoring your calls, or just not focusing, the problem isn’t the dog—it’s the link between you two.

I work with a 12-session monthly program (3 days a week) because consistency is the only way to get real results. We don't just drill commands like Sit, Down, and Heel; we generalize them. That means we practice in your home, on your balcony, and in local parks, teaching your dog to focus on you even when there are distractions like other dogs, traffic, or people nearby.

The goal is a dog that actually wants to listen, not one that obeys out of fear. From crate training guidance to managing leash reactivity, every plan is tailored to the specific energy and personality of your dog. Because I have trained everything from Shih Tzus to German Shepherds, I know that 'one size fits all' does not work here. We will use your dog's unique motivation to build focus.

Remember, this is not magic. You have to be involved in the process. I will teach you the handler skills—how to use a marker, when to reward, and how to apply leash pressure—so you can maintain the training long after our session ends. If you are ready to put in the work for a better-behaved, happier dog, let's get started.
