Foundation Bite Work & Drive Development
Session Focus: Drive & Mechanics
- Duration: 30 to 45 minutes (based on puppy stamina).
- Target Group: Puppies (4 months+) or green dogs with no protection experience.
- Prey Drive Activation: Utilization of flirt poles and ragged cloth to trigger natural chase instincts.
- Grip Development: Teaching the dog to bite with a full mouth (calm, deep grip) on Jute or French Linen bite pillows.
- Desensitization: Introduction to noise stressors like bamboo clatter sticks during engagement to build confidence.
Equipment & Handling
- Gear: Bite wedges, pillows, and handcrafted bamboo clatter sticks.
- Methodology: Strictly positive reinforcement with no physical threat from the agitator.
- Owner Coaching: Training on long-line handling to prevent jamming the dog's neck during strikes.
Advanced Full Suit Protection & Civil Scenarios
Combat & Control Scenarios
- Duration: 45 to 60 minutes (includes active scenarios and cool-down).
- Prerequisite: Adult dogs (GSD, Malinois, Rottweilers) with established grip foundations.
- Civil Agitation: Decoy uses menacing body language or hidden sleeves to test defense of the handler without obvious equipment cues.
- Real-World Simulations: Specific setups including Car Jacking defense (window engagement) and Home Invasion (engaging hiding threats).
- Full Suit Work: Engagement on a Demanet Bite Suit targeting different body zones (legs, biceps, torso) under pressure.
Technical Standards
- Pressure Testing: Application of physical pressure (padded stick hits) and psychological pressure (yelling/staring).
- Safety Protocols: Decoy trained under PSA standards to ensure safe catches that protect the dog's spine and teeth during high-speed entries.
- Control Work: Heavy emphasis on obedience, recalling, and releasing (out command) while in a state of high arousal.

Why I Train
My dream is simple: 'India da coat pana hai' (I want to wear India's coat). I put in real mehnat (hard work) for this, and I expect the same dedication from the dogs and handlers I work with. This isn't just about teaching a dog to bite - it's about building a confident, reliable partner for sport or real-life protection.
How I Train
For me, it's all about communication, not control. Dekho (look), a dog that wants to work with you is way better than one that's forced. I use the dog's natural drive - food, toys, or just the work itself - to build engagement. Every session is about rewarding small wins, boosting confidence, and making the dog think. It's serious work, but always positive.
Sport & Real-World Training
I train for two things:
- PSA sport dog training & IGP: Precision, control, and performance. As an Apprentice Decoy at Capital Dogs PSA Club, I believe in 'Perfect Practice'. Every move is deliberate, and both dog and handler get ready for the ring.
- Real-world protection dog scenarios: I prep dogs for Police, Military, and Security. We do scenario-based training - car-jackings, hidden threats, indoor searches, and more.

- Bite sleeve training techniques: Starting with bite pillows, moving to full suits.
- Long bite and pursuit work.
- Distraction proofing with clatter sticks.
- Advanced obedience for protection dogs, like focused heeling.
Is Your Dog Ready?
This training is tough. It's for high-drive, genetically suitable breeds like Belgian Malinois, German Shepherds (DDR lines), and Rottweilers. Not every dog or owner is cut out for it.
