We believe that a truly functional space starts with the people who inhabit it, which is why our studio structure is built around collaborative design rather than rigid hierarchies. When you work with us, you are not just hiring a designer, but a collective of perspectives—from material experts to spatial planners—who ensure that every corner of your office or home serves a genuine human need.
Our studio is built on the belief that a business is only as strong as the people behind it. Over the past four years, MJ Architects has grown from a solo pursuit into a collective of six talented designers. This evolution has allowed us to tackle larger, more complex commercial and residential projects while maintaining the intimacy of our design language.
Awards like the India's Best Design Project 2024 are meaningful, but they serve primarily as a validation of the risks we take. Whether it is a luxury duplex or a high-traffic retail store, we avoid standard templates in favor of layouts that prioritize natural light and human movement. We find that the most rewarding part of the job is not just the finished project, but the dialogue we have with clients during the process.
Outside of our project work, I am frequently invited to speak on panels at industry events like the IDAC Expo and ACETECH. These forums allow us to share insights on the future of living and modular furniture, keeping our team informed of emerging innovations. We see our role not just as service providers, but as partners in helping you navigate the complexities of building a space that feels right.
