Designing this 24,000 sq. ft. workspace in Vikhroli taught me that community needs a physical heartbeat. This concept explores how open layouts and defined zones foster genuine connection in a professional setting.

A rendering of the main reception desk for the coworking space, featuring a geometric white metal base and a warm wood top. The statement pendant lights and neon signage create a bold and welcoming entry point.

This view shows the reception area flowing into collaborative zones, including booth seating set within architectural arches. The design encourages interaction from the moment someone walks in.

Another perspective of the reception and breakout area, highlighting the arched pods for semi-private conversations. The mix of wood flooring and patterned tiles defines different functional zones.

A collaborative table sits adjacent to the main reception, bathed in natural light from large windows. The classic wall molding and checkerboard rug add a touch of timeless elegance to the modern space.

This rendering captures the open and airy feeling of the reception area, with views extending through to different seating zones. The design prioritizes natural light and a sense of spaciousness.

A comfortable lounge seating arrangement in the reception area. The use of colorful, contemporary furniture against a backdrop of classic architectural details creates a stylish and eclectic mix.

A rendering of the main breakout and cafe area, featuring long banquette seating and vibrant murals. This space is designed to be the social heart of the office, buzzing with energy and color.

This circular sofa with an integrated central planter is a key feature of the breakout zone. It’s designed to be a natural gathering point, encouraging spontaneous conversations and connections.

"Great minds meet here." This collaborative seating area uses bold geometric floor tiles and large-scale abstract art to create an inspiring environment for teamwork and brainstorming.

The pantry and bar area, with its sleek counter, vibrant green tiles, and bold red bar stools. This space is designed to be both a functional kitchen and a lively social hub for the community.

About Future Forward: Concepts for Coworking & Community

The key to this project was moving away from standard, cold office pods. We designed the circular sofa with a central planter as a magnet for conversation, not just another piece of furniture. It is about creating moments where people actually want to stop and talk, rather than just pass by.
