Creative Collage & Mixed Media Workshops in Noida
I believe there is a story hidden in every scrap of paper and layer of paint. Join me in Noida to explore the joy of storytelling through collage and mixed media—no rules, just pure creativity.
A collection of my artworks created on old book pages. I love the way the text becomes a part of the image, adding another layer of meaning to portraits, animals, and figures.
This photomontage was created during a workshop at KNMA Noida. I combined images and text to tell a story about a honeymoon in the hills, playing with themes of marriage and destination weddings.
A simple and serene collage created with torn paper and a few lines of ink. This piece shows how you can create a beautiful landscape with just a few carefully chosen elements.
Another random collage, this one depicting a lone figure looking out at the sea. Collage is a wonderful medium for creating atmospheric and narrative scenes.
A portrait created with watercolor and ink on a book page, with flowers blooming from within. This mixed-media piece explores the connection between nature and identity.
A depiction of a dancing couple on a book page, with the woman painted in full color and the man in outline. This creates a dynamic contrast and tells a story of partnership.
A majestic peacock painted over a page of text. The words in the background add texture and depth to the vibrant colors of the bird's feathers.
A playful collage using torn paper and simple line drawings to create whimsical characters and scenes.
This collage, titled 'Sowing the seed for a bright tomorrow,' uses abstract shapes of torn paper to create a hopeful and symbolic image.
An abstract, meditative piece made with layers of paint, patterns, and thread. This is a form of intuitive art where we let the materials guide us.
About Creative Collage & Mixed Media
We start with what you have. Whether it is an old book page or a collection of photographs, we find the narrative within. In my Noida studio sessions, I focus on the technique—how to layer textures, blend ink with paper, and let the materials guide the outcome rather than forcing a rigid result. It is about the play of light and shadow, not perfection.
Collage is far more than just sticking paper together. It is an intuitive way to communicate. When we work on old book pages, the text underneath becomes a part of the portrait or landscape, adding a layer of history and meaning that paint alone cannot achieve.
My workshops in Noida are designed for anyone who wants to rediscover their creative spark. We look at everything as a canvas. You might be painting over newsprint, incorporating dried flowers, or using ink to define abstract shapes. It is about the freedom of happy accidents. We do not strive for perfection; we strive for expression.
If you are a beginner, do not worry about technique. I guide you through the basics of composition and color theory while letting you lead the design. We cover layering, using adhesives, and integrating different mediums like watercolor and pen. These sessions are perfect for those who want to take a break from the routine and just make something with their hands. Whether you are creating a photomontage or an abstract layered canvas, you walk away with a piece that is truly yours.
