About this collection

When you choose a gilded or golden lehenga, you are not just wearing a color. You are wearing light. I design these pieces with dense zardosi and metallic bugle beads specifically to refract evening light, ensuring you remain radiant from the first photograph to the final dance.

There is a specific architecture to working with gold and metallic tones. If the embroidery is too sparse, the piece lacks gravitas. If it is too heavy, the fabric loses its ability to flow. In my 'Ruvaah' collection, I balance this by using a mix of traditional zardosi and contemporary geometric bugle bead patterns. This combination creates a texture that feels substantial yet moves with grace.

These ensembles are intended for the moments when the lights go down, and the festivities begin. Whether it is a Sangeet, a cocktail party, or a grand reception, a gold-toned lehenga commands a unique presence. I often pair these with soft organza or net dupattas, which allow the shimmer of the skirt to shine through without overpowering the silhouette.

Practicality is as important as aesthetics. Because metallic embroidery can be heavy, I construct these lehengas with a reinforced waistband and structural can-can layers. This keeps the volume perfect throughout the night, so you never have to worry about your outfit losing its shape while you dance or move between guests. Each piece in this collection is a study in how to marry heritage craftsmanship with modern evening glamour.
