About this collection
When you're choosing coordinated outfits, the challenge isn't just matching colors; it's balancing the textures. I ensure the weight of your fabric—like heavy velvet sherwanis paired with lighter organza gowns—looks balanced in photos and feels right for your specific event, whether it's an evening reception or a daytime ceremony.
Designing Your Shared Narrative
Wedding fashion is rarely just about one person. When I work with a couple, my goal is to create a visual dialogue between your outfits. We look at the palette, the density of the embroidery, and the silhouette to make sure you both stand out without competing for attention.
The Process of Coordination
I treat your combined look as a single design project. If the bride wants a heavy zardozi lehenga, I will suggest a groom's sherwani that incorporates similar thread work or border detailing to create a cohesive aesthetic. If it’s a reception look, we might play with modern Indo-Western fusions, pairing a dramatic mermaid gown with a slim-fit Italian tuxedo that echoes the same metallic undertones.
Customization for Your Event
Based at my Commercial Street studio in Bengaluru, I walk you through the fabric selection, ensuring the textiles breathe well and drape correctly for your event. Because these are complex, multi-piece sets, I recommend scheduling your consultations at least 30 days before your event. This allows time for the 2-3 fitting trials I insist upon, which are essential to ensure that every measurement, from the corset structure of a gown to the canvas fusing of a blazer, is perfect.
Whether you are looking for traditional heritage pieces or contemporary fusion wear, my aim is to make sure your first appearance as a couple feels effortless and intentional.
