Getting your kicks painted isn't just about slapping an image on leather. Since I use premium Angelus paints, every character portrait or logo is heat-set and varnished to handle real-world wear. If you have a specific scene in mind, like those Star Wars portraits or Top Gun fighter jets, expect the project to take about 3 to 5 weeks because I never use stencils. Everything you see here is 100% hand-painted brushwork, made to last.
When you want to wear your fandom, you need more than a factory print. Whether it's the gritty detail of a Star Wars saga on a pair of Nike Air Force 1s or the clean lines of a Ted Lasso crest, my focus is on capturing the vibe accurately.
The Process
Everything starts with a proper prep. I deglaze the factory finish to make sure the paint actually bonds to the leather, so it doesn't crack or peel the first time you walk in them. For character work and intricate scenes, I use multi-layering techniques to build depth and shading. Every piece is finished with a high-grade sealer to protect the artwork against light wear and creases.

Since every pair is 100% hand-painted, the complexity dictates the timing. Simpler logos move faster, but full-scale movie portraits on the outer and inner swooshes take more time to perfect.
