Real Fitness: My Training Philosophy & Approach
I don't do perfect, I do persistent. This is how I train—straight up, no BS, and focused on building real strength that fits your life.
This is a glimpse into a typical pull day for me. We focus on building back strength with exercises like chin-ups and lat pulldowns, which are key for improving posture and creating that "tiny waist" look. I'm always transparent about my own struggles, like getting past three chin-ups, because fitness is about persistence, not perfection.
If your goal is fat loss, my approach is simple and effective. We focus on the non-negotiables: lifting heavy weights to build and retain muscle, setting performance goals beyond the scale, and staying active outside the gym. This video shows the core principles of my fat loss workouts, emphasizing strength and consistency over endless cardio.
Your first leg day at the gym can feel intimidating, so I created this simple routine using minimal equipment. I guide you through foundational movements like goblet squats and dumbbell glute bridges, focusing on proper form. My goal is to make strength training accessible and show you how to build a strong base, no matter your starting point.
Nutrition doesn't have to be complicated or boring. Here’s how I make a quick, high-protein breakfast using oats that tastes like dessert but is packed with 20 grams of protein. I focus on simple, sustainable habits that fuel your workouts and help with muscle recovery without making you feel deprived.
Mobility is a game-changer for performance and preventing injury. This is a simple, full-body mobility routine I do before training to prepare my joints and muscles for the workout ahead. I incorporate movements like the World's Greatest Stretch and thoracic openers to improve range of motion, which is a crucial part of my holistic coaching.
The Smith machine can be a fantastic tool when you know how to use it. In this video, I break down some of my favorite exercises like incline presses and reverse hypers, explaining how it helps control movement and focus on form. I believe in teaching you the 'why' behind every exercise so you feel confident and capable in the gym.
That satisfying post-workout glow is one of the best feelings. For me, fitness is about more than just physical results; it's about feeling strong, energized, and confident in your own skin. This is the feeling of accomplishment we work towards every session.
About this collection
I’m not interested in polished gym reels that look nothing like actual training. When you train with me at Fitpod, we focus on the stuff that moves the needle: hitting depth on your squats, finally nailing that first pull-up, or learning why your lower back feels tight after deadlifts. It is messy, it is sweaty, and it works because it is built for your reality, not a textbook.
Persistence Over Perfection
Fitness often feels like you need to be a robot, but that’s not how human beings work. Some days you will be strong, and some days you will be hungover, tired, or stressed. My philosophy is simple: we work with what you have. If you can’t hit a heavy session, we pivot to mobility or lighter volume. The goal is to keep you in the game long-term, not burn you out in three weeks.
What Training Actually Looks Like
When we work together in JP Nagar, we aren't just counting reps. We are building a foundation. We use a structured push/pull/legs split that keeps things interesting and effective. I’m strict about form because I want you to be lifting safely for the next decade, not just the next month.
- Strength & Form: I teach you the 'why' behind the movement. Whether it’s goblet squats or Smith machine work, you will know exactly what you’re doing and why.
- Sustainable Fat Loss: We skip the cardio torture sessions. We build muscle, we manage your daily activity levels, and we look at your nutrition without asking you to give up your favorite coffee or snacks.
- Holistic Recovery: Recovery isn't just a buzzword. It’s the foam rolling, the mobility drills, and the lifestyle habits that let you actually function outside the gym.
My coaching is about taking the guesswork out of your fitness. You show up, we do the work, and you start feeling like yourself again. No drama, no judgment, just solid progress.
